This article proposes to analyse the multiple interpretations, for the book of poems Desapariencia no engaña by the Argentine writer Néstor Ponce, concerning the topic of the missing persons during the terrorism of State in Argentina (1976-1983). The poems present the horror of the dictatorship in a new way. These texts will be analysed taking into account two main ideas: the concept of installation, typical of the conceptual contemporary art and that of synecdoche. The bodies of those missing are made present via poetic language. These voices break the silence by speaking about passion, memories, and everything that is connected to life. Hereby an antithesis is established between absence and presence, confinement and freedom, ignorance and memory. A heterotopia is constituted. Ponce travels to hell, as Ulises, to give a voice to “the hooded ones”, the tortured ones, the massacred ones, the missing ones and with these tales he constructs a fragmentary memorial on the unique historical experience of these taken lives.

Ever since Los informantes (2004), Juan Gabriel Vásquez's works deal with the tormented history of his country, Colombia, and La forma de las ruinas (2015) attempts to unravel the tangled threads of this still painful past. It focuses on the twentieth century, wounded by – among other things – the assassinations of two presidential candidates on the cusp of winning their elections : Rafael Uribe Uribe, in 1914, and Jorge Eliécer Gaitán, the “Colombian Kennedy”, in 1948. However La forma de las ruinas breaks with the rest of his works because, for the first time, Juan Gabriel Vásquez presents himself within the narrative, allowing the reader privileged access to the internal conflicts of a narrator who personifies the antagonisms of the entire Colombian society. This article intends to analyze the forms of transcription of history used to depict a multifaceted past in which the wounds are struggling to heal. We will ask ourselves, in a wider sense, how literature can convey the depth of non-resolved conflicts and show the reader other ways to comprehend history.
This article consists in the study of a dramatic work considered as representative of the transition period that Colombia currently faces : Desaparecido, written in 2008 by Enrique Lozano, a contemporary author who won two national dramatic prizes. This play deals with the problem of reconciling the past from both in a dramatic and historical perspective. By its theme, it foreshadows some of the new issues brought by the signature of the peace deal – especially the reinsertion and the redemption of guerilleros– while refusing to engage in a definitive meaning. It is therefore symptomatic of the uncertainty of this historical time, but also of the artistic transition led by the new generation of dramatic authors to whom the playwright belongs, the generation of the constitution of 1991, that distances itself from the activist plays and leaves room for ambiguity.

This article purports to analyze the novel Los ejércitos (2006) by Colombian author Evelio Rosero Diago. The interest to analyze this literary work responds to the form in which the novel explores new points of enunciation, getting away from the cliche ways in which violence is referenced in Colombia: data, statistics, and terrifying anecdotes that produce an ephemeral indignation. On the contrary, Rosero investigates new forms of language combined with uncommon narration of daily realities which provides us with the necessary distancing from the pathological familiarization with violence to which we have grown accustomed. This novel arrives in the field of Colombian literature as a distanced examination of the violent novel and its narrative tools. Consequently, the purpose of this article is to analyze the system of characters as well as time and space to elucidate the manner in which they evoke memory, revelations, and, most of all, the way in which narration of memory affects the perception of the present and expectations for the future. In this way, the reader is able to understand the link between the past, present, and future as different types of time that together constitute historical consciousness.

The paper proposes to analyze the novel 2666 by Roberto Bolaño from the notion of recognition, reinterpreted by Jesús Martín Barbero and Hermann Herlinghaus in the framework of their work on melodramatic imagination. An essential component of the melodramatic dramaturgy, the recognition acquires here a much broader significance, be it used in a literal sense or in the metaphorical sense of the term, allowing thus to tackle the issue of the social constructions of subjectivity. Besides we establish the link between this search of recognition, which reiterates itself on multiple discursive levels and registers, and the concept of precarious life developed, among others, by Judith Butler. We analyze the final three books of 2666, to show how as the chaos is introduced, the melodramatic figures are increasingly visible and canonical, and how the presence of evil saturates the realm he portrays. The tension between knowledge and re-knowledge is constant and open to subjective interpretations; the invisible and those denied visibility are becoming a place in writing, be it metaphorical, fictitious, or real. Encounters multiply and their point is to oblige them to face to their problematic existence and their denied memories.
This essay analyses the role of cinema in Julio Cortázar‟s short story “We love Glenda so much”. Intertextual links between cinema and the story will be examined in the first instance, to subsequently present a parallel between Benjamin‟s ideas on the revolutionary potential of cinema (or any art) and Cortázar‟s depiction of the medium as a living cultural discourse.
In Mexico, national identity is strongly associated with the concept of miscegenation. The great contradiction of this miscegenation is its plurality. This work analyzes this construction of an objectively "mixed" nation that seeks its unity, through artistic and literary productions of the 20th century and the symbols of the Mexican State. The objective here is to first show how this desire has been translated to make recognize the specificity of a population and a Mexican culture made of infinite mixtures and then the limits of this political project.
In the United States, a country of immigration, foreign language learning is the norm, in most institutions. Among the languages learned in this country, English figures as the official language, but there are also other European and Asian languages. In the case of FLE learning in the American context, we think that the production of narrative texts by an American learner represents a relatively complex activity similar to that experienced by a Tunisian learner. In the present work, we describe an action research that we carried out in Tunisian schools whose objective is to try to identify and analyze the difficulties related to the textual coherence in the written productions of the Tunisian students in order to understand and to explain the cognitive processes performed by learners in writing situations. This procedure allowed us to design remediation sequences based on metacognitive activities aimed at developing students' self-regulation strategies and consequently improving their scriptural performances. The results obtained allowed us to verify the impact of the practice of metacognition on the performance of novice writers. The methods we have experimented with could be avenues of research for learning foreign languages in the United States.

    • El Goce del Supremo Texto Abierto de Augusto Roa Bastos - Eric Courthès accès libre avec résumé en anglais
In this article, I tried to demonstrate that Roa Bastos's narrative genius derives not only from the way he used the Word to combat dictatorship, but also, and above all, from the Writing Lesson that the Dictator-Compiler-Author imparts in I the Suprem. Indeed, in this book the author gives us the illusion that the text engenders itself: endotext, and that the reader, in the act of becoming “a fictional an autonomous being”, as affirmed by Roa in the last “Compiler's Note”, is condemned to re-write the text: exotext, wich means that its work is open too. From various vantage point: the Dictator's voice, Kristeva's genotext, the site of signification, and guarani orality, spring multiples textual pleasures as described by Roland Barthes, all of which ultimately fuse into text's orgasm of open work, deconstructing the writing machine.
